Privacy policy

When you send a hire request we collect your name, phone number, and optionally your email address, along with the details of the trip: dates, pick-up location, destination and any notes you add.

For self-drive hire we additionally collect and verify identification documents, a driver's licence, and proof of address. These are collected in person or over a secure channel, never through this website.

To respond to your request, confirm a vehicle and quote you a price; to fulfil the hire; to meet our obligations under the hire agreement and to insurers; and to keep the records a business is required to keep.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.

Staff who need it to arrange your hire. Your name and phone number are shared with the driver assigned to your booking so they can reach you.

Where a claim arises, relevant details are shared with our insurers. Where the law requires it, information may be shared with law enforcement.

Booking records are held in a managed database with access restricted to authorised staff. Identification documents collected for self-drive hire are held for the period required by our insurers and then destroyed.

Booking records are retained for six years, which is the period for which business and tax records must be kept. Requests that do not result in a booking are deleted after twelve months.

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act you may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it.
