Rates & terms
Every rate we charge, on one page.
Rates are per vehicle in naira and hold for travel within Lagos State. A chauffeur-driven day is twelve hours and includes 30 litres of fuel; self-drive is a full twenty-four hours. Weekly and monthly contracts work out materially cheaper per day than booking the same vehicle repeatedly.
Per-vehicle rates go up as the fleet is listed.
In the meantime, tell us the vehicle class, the dates and where you are going, and we will quote you a firm price. The terms below apply to every hire and will not change when the table appears.
Terms of hire
The full version is on the terms page. This is the part that affects what you pay.
- What a day means
- Twelve hours on chauffeur-driven hire, counted from the agreed pick-up time — not from when the driver leaves our yard. Self-drive is a full twenty-four hours from collection. Beyond that you are billed per hour at a rate quoted before the trip.
- Fuel — chauffeur-driven
- 30 litres are included in the day rate. That covers a normal day's movement around Lagos. Anything beyond it is refuelled during the trip and added to your invoice at pump price, with the receipt attached and no mark-up.
- Fuel — self-drive
- We record the fuel level at collection and you return the vehicle at that same level. Bring it back lower and we bill the shortfall at pump price.
- Outside Lagos
- Must be agreed before the vehicle leaves, and is quoted per trip with a fuel supplement and, where the driver stays overnight, an overnight allowance. Taking a vehicle out of Lagos State without prior notice breaches the hire agreement and attracts a penalty — it also voids the insurance, which is the real reason we ask.
- Tolls and parking
- Billed at cost with the receipt attached to your invoice.
- Deposits
- Self-drive hire requires a refundable security deposit, set per vehicle and returned within five working days of a clean return.
- Cancellation
- Free more than 24 hours before pick-up. Inside 24 hours we charge 50% of the day rate, because the vehicle and driver were held and turned down other work.
- Payment
- Bank transfer, on confirmation. Corporate accounts on contract are invoiced monthly in arrears.
- Waiting time
- Airport transfers include 90 minutes of waiting at arrivals. Other pick-ups include 30 minutes, after which waiting is billed hourly.
Booking more than a few days? Ask for a contract rate.
Anything beyond a week is cheaper on contract than on repeat day rates, and the difference grows with the term. Tell us how long and we will price it properly.
